1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bookids website and services. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services

Bookids provides personalized children's storybooks in digital (PDF) and printed formats. Personalization is based solely on data provided by parents/legal guardians.

3. Orders & Payments

• Orders are placed through our website.
• Payments are processed via secure third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
• All prices are displayed in EUR and include VAT where applicable.

4. Delivery

• Digital books: delivered instantly via email/download link.
• Printed books: shipped to the provided address, delivery times vary by region.

5. Cancellations & Returns

• Personalized products are exempt from the EU statutory right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c)).
• Orders cannot be canceled once personalization begins.
• If a product is damaged or incorrect, contact us within 14 days for replacement.

6. Responsibilities of Parents

• Parents/guardians must ensure they have the authority to provide child data.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for accuracy of submitted data.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, including generated books, illustrations, and website materials, are owned by Bookids LLC. You receive a personal, non-commercial license for your personalized book.

8. Liability

Bookids is not liable for delivery delays or issues caused by third-party couriers.

Liability is limited to the value of the order, except in cases of fraud, gross negligence, or death/personal injury.

9. Governing Law

• For EU consumers: EU consumer protection laws apply.
• For others: governed by Wyoming, USA law.
